CACEIS, European market leader in asset servicing and fund administration, appointed Frits Bruinings as Business Development Manager in May. In this role, he is co-responsible for larger pension funds, Pension Institution Premiums (PPI), General Pension Funds (APF) and insurers at CACEIS Netherlands.

Previously, Frits Bruinings worked for InAdmin Riskco as a sales manager. Over the past 20 years Frits has worked in commercial roles for Robeco, Allianz and PGGM, among others. At Robeco his focus was on the PPI. At PGGM, as client manager, he was responsible for setting up an APF.
Further growth in the pensions, funds, wealth and insurance segments is important for CACEIS following the acquisition of KAS BANK in November 2019. 2020 is the year in which this transition largely takes place for this bank as part of the market leader in asset servicing in Europe. CACEIS is part of Crédit Agricole, the world's largest cooperative financial institution.
"With the scale created by the acquisition of CACEIS and our front-to-back solution from our partner SimCorp Dimension, we can focus more on the larger pension funds, Premium Pension Institutions and General Pension Funds" says Rinke Visser, Head of Regional Coverage in the Netherlands. "CACEIS has the ambition to maintain its leading role as an asset service provider in Europe and to further expand in the pension, insurance and wealth segment. By attracting experienced professionals such as Frits, this ambition will be further shaped".
