CACEIS, European market leader in custody services and fund administration, appointed Michiel Gosens as Senior Communications Manager in March. In this role, Gosens is responsible for CACEIS’ corporate communications strategy in the Netherlands.

Previously Michiel Gosens worked for the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) where he was spokesman and communications advisor for amongst others Efficient Capital Markets, Asset Management, MiFID II, Fintech and Brexit. For the past 20 years, Gosens has amongst others worked in corporate communications roles for multinationals such as Liberty Global, ING and Microsoft. At Liberty Global and ING, he managed an international network of countries.
Communication to both employees and customers and external stakeholders is important to CACEIS after the acquisition of KAS BANK NV. in November 2019. 2020 is the year in which this transition largely takes place for the Dutch bank as part of the market leader in custody services and fund administration in Europe. CACEIS is part of Crédit Agricole, the world's largest cooperative financial institution.
