Message of Sikko van Katwijk, Country Manager CACEIS Netherlands.

17 Mar 2020

Dear client,

The coronavirus not only affects our public health, it also has a major impact on capital markets. Stock markets have taken hits globally and the situation is also creating great uncertainty for investors. We would like to inform you about the measures that CACEIS Netherlands has taken in response to announcements from the Dutch Government and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). It goes without saying that we will follow new announcements closely.

The most important thing is the health of our employees and their loved ones and of you, our relations and your loved ones. In addition, it is important that we can guarantee the continuity of our business operations.

Following the announcements, as many employees as possible will work from home at CACEIS Netherlands in the coming period. We contribute to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus as much as possible. In the past period, we have successfully tested our IT infrastructure to enable working from home. At the moment, only colleagues in our offices who are responsible for business-critical applications are working from our offices in Amsterdam and Weesp. We do not experience any problems at these locations either.

I want to assure you that CACEIS is committed to continue to provide and guarantee our services to you. You will understand that personal meetings will no longer take place, but our relationship managers are of course available to you by phone, by app and by email. In practice, this may sometimes lead to some delay due to the unusual situation. For this we kindly ask your understanding.

Also on behalf of all my colleagues at CACEIS, I wish you much strength and luck for what the coming period will bring. We are ready to advise and guide you in the best possible way. I hope that this uncertain time will soon come to an end.

Kind regards,
Sikko van Katwijk
